President Clint Farrell



Clint Farrell has held business leadership positions since 1994. He engineered turnarounds for a pair of manufacturing businesses by focusing on technology to improve efficiency, quality and sales growth. Clint joined Philips Electronics in 1998 to build an HDTV startup. In 2003, he started aerospace manufacturer CFX Dynamics, made a small acquisition and grew the company. Clint started Nexcelerate in 2013 to provide business growth and operations management advisory services, and in 2016 acquired Btracking, a global GPS Tracking business which Clint operates. Clint has also held business development and engineering roles with transportation conglomerate Canadian Pacific and mining giant Placer Dome.

Besides accumulating a wealth of knowledge in every aspect of business management, from marketing to product development to tax, Clint is an expert in Software Applications and Lean Six Sigma Enterprise.

Clint holds a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from the University of Toronto, an MBA in Finance from McGill University, and an Associate's Certificate (Honors) in Computer Systems from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer. Industry expertise includes online businesses, SaaS, aerospace, manufacturing, sports, electronics, industrial equipment, construction, transportation, electric power, building products, oil & gas and mining.

A former OHA junior hockey player in Canada, Clint coaches elite hockey and is a recognized authority on vintage baseball uniforms.

Btracking

Overhauled the Btracking GPS Tracking platform, added new features such as Driver Scorecard and Hot Spots, improved hardware (in-vehicle device) reliability.

Improved customer service experience through Zendesk, improved training for service reps, and required that all staff know every customer on a first name basis.

Redesigned website, added a blog, implemented SEO and forensic visit analysis.

CFX Dynamics

Acquired new capital equipment. Created flexible production cells. Used Lean Enterprise to optimize processes and value streams.

Implemented Visual Manufacturing ERP, improved inventory management and production planning.

Developed a quality system and a comprehensive non-conforming product database integrated into ERP. Became the smallest business in the state to achieve registration to ISO 9001 and AS9100.

Recognized as a top supplier multiple times.

Achieved exit in 2012.

MLBCollectors

Designed, built and operates MLBCollectors, the world's largest online database of vintage Major League Baseball uniforms.

Advisory

Assisted startup PowerHouse Sports with financing, marketing, concepts, website.

Provided operating and financial advisory services to a brewery startup and a services contractor.
